To maintain a clean and tranquil environment around exam venues during the Gaokao and create a pleasant, quiet testing atmosphere for candidates, the Honghe County Bureau of Housing and Urban‑Rural Development rolled out coordinated arrangements starting June 1. Working alongside Honghe Tianying, it launched a special cleaning and support campaign for areas near exam sites, delivering refined cleaning services to back the Gaokao.
This campaign targets key zones including primary and secondary roads, sidewalks, green belts and venue entrances nearby exam centres. Sanitation workers increased rounds of sweeping, waste collection and water sprinkling for dust suppression, keeping road surfaces clean and public facilities free of dust. Staff routinely picked up scattered litter and cleared overlooked dead‑ends one by one, combining fixed‑post checks with mobile patrols.
Noise control was prioritised throughout operations, with strict rules enforced for silent work. Before and during examinations, cleaning vehicles were banned from sounding horns; water sprinklers turned off audio alerts; and waste was handled gently during collection to minimise noise in the vicinity.
Going forward, Honghe Tianying will uphold rigorous cleaning standards and further boost environmental support around exam sites.
